Press Release

Team Harris and Wisconsin Democrats Capitalize on Grassroots Energy Across Wisconsin with Largest-Ever Mobilization Blitz

By - Jul 29th, 2024 05:59 am

This weekend, Team Harris and Wisconsin Democrats marked 100 days until the general election with a massive weekend of action across Wisconsin.

Over 1,000 volunteers engaged Wisconsin voters through events across the state, including canvass launches, press events, and visits from national and state political figures like Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff, Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Ben Wikler, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, and local leaders and candidates statewide.

This was the campaign’s first weekend of action and comes on the heels of hundreds of endorsements in Wisconsin, and after more than 3,500 people gathered in Milwaukee for Vice President Harris’ first speech as the expected nominee, highlighting the groundswell of support for Vice President Harris.

Vice President Harris is fighting for a future where we strengthen our democracy, protect reproductive freedom, and ensure every person has the opportunity to not just get by, but to get ahead. Meanwhile, Donald Trump’s Project 2025 agenda would threaten Americans’ rights and freedoms, hurt the middle class, and raise costs for families.
