Tea on the Terrace

The Villa Terrace’s Annual Tea - Sunday, August 17 from 3-5:00 p.m.

Milwaukee, WI – The Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum, 2220 N. Terrace Avenue is pleased to announce Tea on the Terrace, an afternoon of tea served on the museum’s lakefront Terrace d’Luna on Sunday, August 17 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Enjoy tea sandwiches and desserts from Saz’s, while sipping a variety of iced and hot teas from Milwaukee’s Rishi Tea, and listening to the piano stylings of Anthony Deutsch. The afternoon includes complimentary hand messages provided by the Milwaukee School of Massage. Patrons can also stroll the Renaissance garden, view the Villa Terrace’s current exhibition, Noh Theatre in the Woodblock Prints of Tsukioka K?gyo (1869-1927) and drop in on poetry readings by local poets.

Tickets are $25 and $20 for Museum Members. Children 12 and under $10. Advance registration by August 11, is strongly recommended for this popular summer event with Ann at 414/278-8295 x5 or RSVP@cavtmuseums.org.

About the Villa Terrace
Overlooking Lake Michigan, the Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum is an Italian Renaissance-style villa designed and built by architect David Adler in 1923. Originally the home of Lloyd Smith of the A.O. Smith Corporation and his family, the Museum features fine and decorative arts dating from the 15th through to the 18th centuries, wrought-iron masterpieces by Cyril Colnik, a formal garden and changing exhibitions. The Museum is located at 2220 N.
