Let Managing Artistic Director, Jacobo Lovo, guide you on a gallery tour and discussion surrounding the exhibit, Tierra Mojada: Scent of My Memories by Rodrigo Carapia. This tour will be given in English and Spanish.

Café con Arte takes place in the Latino Arts Gallery. Registration is $5.

About the Exhibit

Rodrigo Carapia is a self-taught artist from Mexico City who has lived in Madison, Wisconsin for over 15 years. His work blends street art roots with canvas and paper, reflecting his Mexa cultural heritage and exploring themes of identity, memory, and resistance. He is also a community advocate who leads art workshops and supports grassroots organizations, with murals and works displayed throughout Wisconsin.
