Take Our Survey: MPS Seeks Input From All Milwaukee Residents

Family, Community and Staff Surveys Go Live Today

By - Jan 17th, 2023 06:35 pm

MILWAUKEE (January 17, 2023)- Today, Milwaukee Public Schools is asking all Milwaukee residents to share their feedback with the school district by taking a 15-minute online survey. The information will be used to help MPS identify priorities and performance targets over the next five years as part of the 2023-2028 strategic planning process.

The survey for families, residents, and community partners is now live and can be taken here. The district will share surveys with students and staff separately.

“We are working on a Strategic Plan that supports MPS’ Five Priorities for Success,” said Dr. Keith P. Posley, MPS Superintendent. “Whether you are a Milwaukee resident, community partner, MPS family, student, or staff member your participation in the survey is important in educating all our current and future students.”

The surveys ask for input about topics and skills students need to be successful; which MPS services are most important to the community; the impact neighborhood schools have on their geographic area; and what the district can do to improve. Information collected in the surveys will be utilized in the development of MPS’ 2023-2028 MPS Strategic Plan.

The MPS Strategic Plan is outlined within the policies of the Office of Board Governance of the Milwaukee Board of School Directors. The Plan guides the process for implementing the district’s overall improvement plan for the next five years. A final report, including findings and recommendations, will be shared in late spring. The 2023-2028 MPS Strategic Plan will be implemented in the 2023-2024 school year.
