Suspect criminally charged in connection to homicide of beloved community member

On Tuesday, September 8, 2020, the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office issued criminal charges against Antoine Alphonse Jr., in connection to the death of Filigonio Ramirez-Montez that occurred on Friday, August 28, 2020, on the 2100 block of South 11th Street.

Alphonse Jr. was charged with one count of First Degree Intentional Homicide – Party to a Crime and one count of Armed Robbery – Party to a Crime. If convicted he could face life in prison along with an additional 45 years in prison and he may be fined up to $100,000.

The Milwaukee Police Department would like to take this time to thank our community for assisting in this investigation and send our condolences to the victims’ family and friends.
