Milwaukee, Wisc.–Milwaukee County Board Chairwoman Marina Dimitrijevic, Democratic Candidate for the State Assembly District 19, is proud to announce more endorsements of her campaign.

The United Auto Workers-South Eastern Wisconsin CAP, Laborers’ International Union of North America, Local No. 113, and Voces de La Frontera all agree that Marina Dimitrijevic is the clear choice to represent the 19th State Assembly District.

“I am honored to continue receiving support from a diverse group of elected officials, labor, and community groups. As the only candidate with a proven record of results on behalf of our working  families, I will be ready on day 1 to represent our community in Madison,” said Marina.  The Laborers and United Auto Workers represent thousands of workers and retirees in Wisconsin.

“We most appreciate Marina’s commitment to the issues that support and impact the needs of workers in the construction industry and their families. Her support for community benefits; specifically local jobs for local works and the prevailing wage standard serve to promote responsible economic development,” said Anthony Neira, Business Manager for LIUNA, Local 113, AFL-CIO.

“My father and husband are immigrants to this country. I know firsthand how important it is to create opportunities for our diverse communities so that everyone in Wisconsin may succeed,” said Marina Dimitrijevic. “Voces de la Frontera, an organization that works on behalf of thousands of families in Wisconsin, knows Marina will continue to fight for immigrant and worker rights in Madison because she already has for 10 years on the County Board,” said Christine Neumann-Ortiz, Executive Director of Voces de la Frontera.

Chairwoman Dimitrijevic has been elected to represent Milwaukee’s Bay View neighborhood located in Assembly District 19 for 10 years. Marina has the largest number of endorsements from labor, community groups, and Democratic elected officials. Assembly District 19 includes Milwaukee’s Bay View, East Side, Downtown, Riverwest and Third Ward neighborhoods.
