Supervisor Martin Supports County Executive Crowley’s Health Screening Administrative Order
MILWAUKEE – County Supervisor Felesia Martin expressed her appreciation for County Executive David Crowley’s efforts to put the health of County employees and residents first with a forthcoming administrative order requiring health screenings.
Crowley will issue a Health Screen Administrative Order next week requiring all Milwaukee County employees and contractors to complete a daily health screen for COVID-19 symptoms and exposure on days they are working in-person.
“Strong, decisive, responsible leadership is needed throughout Milwaukee County during these trying, uncertain and very stressful times,” said Supervisor Martin. “County Executive Crowley is showing such leadership with the announcement of required health screenings and I fully support this measure. Let us all do our part to control and eradicate this awful virus which has disrupted our lives and upended our economy.”
Due to the on-going increase in COVID-19 cases in Milwaukee County the health screenings initiative will help prevent the spread of the virus among the county workforce and the public.
More information on the administrative order will be released the week of November 2.
Interested parties can visit the County Executive’s web site for more details about the order.
