By - Oct 18th, 2024 11:00 am

MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee County Supervisor Deanna Alexander will host a town hall meeting for District 18 residents on Monday, October 21, 2024. The event will provide an opportunity for residents to engage in an open discussion about the proposed 2025 Milwaukee County budget, share their priorities, ask questions, and learn more about how the budget will impact their community.

“I encourage District 18 residents to attend and share their input on the 2025 budget,” said Supervisor Alexander. “This is an important opportunity for us to come together, discuss key issues, and ensure the budget reflects the needs and priorities of our community. Although Milwaukee County avoided a significant budget deficit this year, maintaining fiscal responsibility and thoughtful financial planning is crucial to sustaining essential services. Your voice matters, and I want to hear from you as we work toward a stronger Milwaukee County.”

The town hall will also provide a platform for residents to discuss concerns and ideas for Milwaukee County government to consider as programs, goals, and funding are evaluated going into the next budget year.

For more information or to request an accommodation, residents can contact Legislative Assistant Chandra Staples at (414) 278-4201 or via email at chandra.staples@milwaukeecountywi.gov for assistance.
