Standing up to ICE: Resources & Summary from February 2 Town Hall
Statement from Alderman Alex Brower February 6, 2026
I was thrilled to see the turnout at our town hall meeting on Monday, February 2 at The Vivarium. The venue reached maximum capacity and still had hundreds more outside, an incredible showing of support for those being targeted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). I am proud to see the readiness of our community to stand up for our immigrant neighbors and against the oppression of ICE.
Among the crowd gathered that night were several community organizations in Milwaukee that offer residents resources and opportunities for action. I want to provide you all with a list of resources that those groups offered at the meeting, and ways to get involved with each of them.
In addition to the resources below, you can always reach out to my office. We would love your input on any resources or ideas that aren’t already listed. We want to help however we can.
