South Kinnickinnic Avenue Closure: Thursday, June 1 & Tuesday, June 6, 2017

The traveling public is advised to add extra travel time and follow detours entering and leaving the Bay View neighborhood and business district.

The City of Milwaukee Department of Public Works (DPW) will be completing a high impact road resurfacing project on South Kinnickinnic Avenue from East Lapham to East Stewart streets on Thursday, June 1, 2017 weather permitting. This project will require the complete closure of the roadway. Access will be available to local businesses on a limited basis.

DPW will implement the second phase of the high impact road resurfacing project on South Kinnickinnic Avenue from East Stewart Street to East Lincoln Avenue on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, weather permitting. This will also require the complete closure of the roadway. Again, access will be available to local businesses on a limited basis.

The traveling public is advised to add extra travel time and follow detours entering and leaving the Bay View neighborhood and business district.
