Skyline Music series starts next week

Alderwoman Milele A. Coggs invites community members to join the fun and festivities at the 2022 Skyline Music concert series at the Selig-Joseph-Folz Amphitheater in Kadish Park, just south of E. North Ave. between the Kilbourn Park Reservoir and Commerce St. The Kal Bergendahl Project will be starting the concert series off strong with their unique brand of jazz-funk fusion on opening night Tuesday, July 12, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Hosted by the COA Youth & Family Centers, the free Tuesday evening concert series also includes food vendors and free art and children’s activities. The series runs through August 23. Each concert of the Skyline Music series starts at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 8:30 p.m.

The lineup for 2022 includes:

· July 12 – The Kal Bergendahl Project

· July 19 – Funk Summit Bass Team

· July 26 – Extra Crispy Brass Band

· August 2 – Betsy Ade & The Well Known Strangers

· August 9 – Urban Empress & The Urbanites

· August 16 – Screamin’ Cucumbers

· August 23 – De La Buena
