Senator Baldwin Passes Resolutions to Congratulate University of Wisconsin and University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire National Champion Women’s Volleyball Teams
WASHNGTON, D.C. – Following the University of Wisconsin NCAA Division I and University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire NCAA Division III women’s volleyball teams winning national championships, Senator Tammy Baldwin introduced and passed resolutions in the Senate celebrating the victories.
“The women on both teams have shown great commitment and dedication, and make the great state of Wisconsin proud,” said Senator Tammy Baldwin. “It’s only right to honor their hard work, teamwork, and this tremendous accomplishment, Go Badgers and Go Blugolds!”
“Whereas the players and the staff of the Blugold women’s volleyball team persevered through challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic; and… Now, therefore, be it Resolved, That the Senate – congratulates the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire Blugolds on winning the 2021 National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III Women’s Volleyball Championship,” the Senate resolution honoring the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women’s volleyball team read in part.
