Sen. Marklein Statement on Sen. LeMahieu’s Announcement

Madison, WI – Sen. Howard Marklein (R-Spring Green) made the following statement following the announcement that Senator Devin LeMahieu (R-Oostburg) will not seek reelection to the Wisconsin State Senate:

“I wish Devin the very best in the future and thank him for his many years as a colleague and friend. He has been a dedicated public servant and a strong advocate for the communities he represented.

Serving alongside Devin was a pleasure. We worked closely together to pass fiscally responsible state budgets that helped make Wisconsin a better place to live and work. I have always admired his leadership within our caucus, especially as we navigated many difficult decisions. He will be missed in the State Senate.”
