Sangria For All

Hotel Madrid will embrace the people’s love for that old time Spanish “punch” with their first “Sangria Fest 2018” on Sunday, June 24th!

By - Jun 13th, 2018 11:35 am

Milwaukee WI – Paintings by El Greco, flamenco dancers and sangria share more than just cultural significance to Spain. All three were lavishly introduced to the United States at the 1964 World’s Fair in New York City, and one treat overwhelmed the crowds. The fruity and delicious sangria was an instant sensation. Hotel Madrid will embrace the people’s love for that old time Spanish “punch” with their first “Sangria Fest 2018” on Sunday, June 24th! They’ve partnered with the beverage masterminds at Cafe Corazon Bayview, DanDan, Vanguard, Movida, and Mikeys to bring 6 amazing sangrias to try! Each restaurant will have an outdoor booth featuring their own recipe where guests can engage and talk to the creative genius that goes into the glass! If all that sangria starts to work up an appetite enjoy some food at the Spanish Snack bar featuring tapas style selections like pintxos.

Sangria Fest is on Sunday, June 24th and will go from 3pm – 6pm at Hotel Madrid on 600 S. 6th Street in Walker’s Point. Advance tickets available online are $25 and include 6 vouchers to try all recipes. $25 tickets available at the door include 5 vouchers with additional vouchers available for $5 each.
