Safe & Sound Announces Safer Together Week: A Celebration of Resident Leaders, Youth Voices, Community Partnerships and the Public Safety Officials Who Keep us Safe

Milwaukee, WI – Safe & Sound is proud to announce Safer Together Week, taking place from March 17 to March 25, 2025. This week-long initiative is dedicated to celebrating the many partners—residents, youth, public safety professionals of all kinds, donors, partners and community organizations—who help drive our mission of safe and empowered neighborhoods.

At Safe & Sound, we are committed to building a safer neighborhoods by advocating for youth and residents, enhancing community safety efforts, and fostering collective impact through collaboration. As part of this special week, we invite the public to join us for a series of free, public events designed to bring our community together, highlighting resident leaders, youth voices, and public safety officials who work to keep us safe.

Safer Together Week 2025—Schedule of Events:

  • Resident Leader Appreciation Day – Monday, March 17 at Safe & Sound
  • Mic Check: Coping Through Karaoke Event – Tuesday, March 18 at Safe & Sound
  • Public Safety Appreciation Day – Wednesday, March 19 at Safe & Sound
  • Coffee & Connections: Donor Appreciation Day – Thursday, March 20 at Safe & Sound
  • Light & Unite: Sip Responsibly & Paint – Friday, March 21 at Safe & Sound
  • Community Cleanups – Saturday, March 22 throughout Milwaukee and Racine
  • Neighborhood Changemaker Appreciation Day (Racine) – Tuesday, March 25, at The Main Project, 1014 State Street, Racine, WI 53404

This week is an opportunity to acknowledge and uplift those who contribute to the safety and vibrancy of our neighborhoods. We encourage all members of the community to participate and support these events.
