MILWAUKEE – This afternoon, State Representative Supreme Moore Omokunde (D-Milwaukee) was elected to serve as Vice Chair of the Milwaukee Delegation.

“I am honored to have been re-elected for my second term as Vice Chair of the Milwaukee Delegation. The primary role of the Vice Chair is to support and implement a shared vision with the Milwaukee Delegation Chair and to serve as liaison with partner organizations in the community. I am proud of the work I did last term with Chair Vining: from our meetings with Street Angels to discuss homelessness, to our budget conversations with the Fire Department and our talks with MPS about how we can better serve the young minds of Milwaukee. With our increased numbers, we are poised to make even greater strides during this term and I look forward to the fight.

“We have to connect our work in the Capitol to the everyday lives of Milwaukeeans in our districts, and promote and actualize ideas to better serve our city and county. As Vice Chair of the Milwaukee Delegation, I am committed to push, promote, plan, educate, respect, and galvanize on behalf of our Milwaukee community.”

Representative Moore Omokunde represents the 17th Assembly District on the North and Northwest sides of Milwaukee.
