MADISON – This afternoon, State Representative Supreme Moore Omokunde (D-Milwaukee) was inaugurated for his third term in the Wisconsin State Assembly.

“Today we take the oath with a renewed sense of urgency on behalf of Wisconsinites in all 99 Assembly Districts,” said Representative Supreme Moore Omokunde. “With 45 Democrats in the Assembly, I am cautiously optimistic that this will at least be the fairest session in my time as a legislator. Surrounded by the pomp, circumstance and excitement of so many new and returning colleagues, it’s good to be back in the saddle.”

In addition to offering congratulations, Representative Moore Omokunde also shared his committee assignments for the 2025-26 Legislative Session.

“I am excited to continue my work on the Assembly Committee on Energy and Utilities, and to serve as Ranking Member on both the Assembly Committee on Jobs and Economy as well as the Assembly Committee on Regulatory Licensing Reform. I look forward to diving head first into these important responsibilities. Our strengthened optimism and resolve remind us of just how much we can accomplish this legislative session.”

Representative Moore Omokunde represents the 17th Assembly District on the North and Northwest sides of Milwaukee.
