Milwaukee (August 15, 2024) –  Radio Milwaukee is excited to announce the return of the 88Nine Fall Ball on September 21 at their Walker’s Point Studios. Presented by Christie and Bill Krugler, the event will feature a celebration on the Radio Milwaukee rooftop, followed by “Karaoke for a Cause” featuring community leaders singing their favorite songs on stage with a live band. The evening will conclude with a dance party with Radio Milwaukee DJs spinning music that is chosen by attendees with the first-ever “Virtual Jukebox”.

“This will certainly be a night to remember and a night to celebrate Radio Milwaukee’s important mission of being a catalyst for creating a better, more inclusive and engaged Milwaukee,” said Christie Krugler, Presenting Sponsor of the event and member of the Radio Milwaukee Board of Directors. “Some of the best memories I have in Milwaukee are at the 88Nine Fall Ball! My husband, Bill, and I are happy to help bring this event back. And we are more than happy to put our support behind Radio Milwaukee.”

This popular event is the first since 2019. Along with opening its doors to their first floor cafe in partnership with Discourse Coffee, Radio Milwaukee is continuing to expand its role in the community, including the recent celebration of the second anniversary of the launch of HYFIN, Wisconsin’s only Urban Alternative radio station.

“I am excited to take part in ‘Karaoke for a Cause’ with a live band led by Radio Radio’s Don Moore!” states Lacey Sadoff, President of Badger Liquor, community leader, and long-time supporter of Radio Milwaukee. “And there are very few causes more near and dear to my heart than Radio Milwaukee. Music discovery and being in the know of what’s happening in our community are why I listen to 88Nine.”

Additional sponsors making the evening possible include Discourse Coffee, Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren S.C., Ellenbecker Investment Group, Educators Credit Union, von Briesen and Roper, and Badger Liquor.

“Reinhart is excited to sponsor the return of the 88Nine Fall Ball and continue our support of 88Nine, Radio Milwaukee, and all of the people and programs connected to this remarkable community-focused organization,” said Al Orr, Chairman, President, and CEO of Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren, who is also the Board Chair for Radio Milwaukee.

Early bird general admission and VIP tickets are available now. In addition to beverages from Discourse and Badger Liquor, food will be available throughout the night to ensure all guests can dance through the evening’s full lineup of events, enjoying the night in the way that Milwaukeeans know how to. More information on tickets, sponsorship, and details about 88Nine Fall Ball can be found at radiomilwaukee.org/fallball.
