MADISON — Yesterday, during an interview with TMJ4’s Charles Benson, when asked if he supports legislation introduced by Senator Tammy Baldwin that would require American-made products to be used in water infrastructure products, he said, “I do.”
“It doesn’t get more cut and dry that that,” Democratic Party of Wisconsin Communications Director Brandon Weathersby said. “President Trump supports Senator Tammy Baldwin’s legislation to create and retain manufacturing jobs in Wisconsin. Now it’s time for Speaker Ryan and Senate Leader Mitch McConnell to stop the bureaucratic maneuvering to block Senator Baldwin’s Buy America legislation and bring it to the floor for a vote so the President can sign it.”
