Packers Sign WR Moore
The Green Bay Packers have signed WR Skyy Moore. The transaction was announced Friday by General Manager Brian Gutekunst.
Moore ranked No. 6 in the NFL last season with a career-high 27.5-yard average on kickoff returns (33 returns for 907 yards), highlighted by a 98-yard return at Arizona in Week 11. It was the third-best average by a San Francisco player since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger (RB Vic Washington, 28.6 in 1972; WR Ted Ginn, 27.6 in 2011). Moore also ranked No. 7 in the league in punt return average last season, returning 25 punts for 291 yards (11.6 avg.). Moore appeared in 30 games at Western Michigan (2019-21), where he earned first-team All-Mid-American Conference honors in 2021 after posting 95 receptions for 1,292 yards (13.6 avg) and nine TDs. Moore also earned first-team All-MAC recognition in 2019, the first WR in school history to earn the honor as a true freshman. He will wear No. 23 for the Packers.
