O’Grady Earns Spot On BIG EAST MLAX Honor Roll

MILWAUKEE – Marquette University men’s lacrosse attackman Bobby O’Grady is on the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the first time this season, the league announced Monday afternoon.

The senior scored four goals and added an assist in the loss at No. 13/12 Havard on Saturday. The native of Milton, Massachusetts posted two man-up goals as Marquette improved to third nationally in man-up percentage (.643) with a 2-for-2 day on the advantage. It was O’Grady’s 16th career game with at least four goals and his second on the season.

O’Grady has 149 points in his NCAA career is is three from tying the MU program record, set by Ryan McNamara (152). The senior is Marquette’s all-time leading goal scorer and a BIG EAST All-Preseason Team selection.

The Golden Eagles welcome Bellarmine to Valley Fields on Tuesday, March 4 for a noon Central time start.
