MILWAUKEE, Wis. – NorthRock Partners, a Minneapolis-based, full-service financial and lifestyle advisory firm, has opened a new office in downtown Milwaukee’s Deer District as it continues to grow its presence and invest in the Midwest region.

The 3,500-square-foot office is located on the street level in Fiserv Forum‘s Entertainment District. The new office is led by Anthony Mlachnik, a Milwaukee native.

The new Milwaukee office comes as NorthRock Partners continues growing and expanding its presence in in the Midwest, adding to the firm’s current offices in Minneapolis and Chicago.

The new office’s close proximity to Fiserv Forum enables NorthRock to best serve its affluent client base, which includes many multi-generation families, corporate executives, entrepreneurs, business owners, professional athletes, entertainers, and retirees. The Milwaukee office’s leadership team includes Client Services Associate Andrea Paulson and Associate Advisor Joshua Timblin.

“We are excited to grow our footprint in the Milwaukee area because of the incredible companies and professionals that call it home,” said Rob Nelson, CEO of NorthRock Partners. “As we continue to lean into the Milwaukee market, Anthony is the perfect advisor to lead this new office. He’s a leader, and business is personal for him. The way he works and supports clients in our communities, it’s something he’s passionate about.”

“This new office is going to help the NorthRock team provide the highest level of services to our clients in Milwaukee, empowering personal relationships and valued time with the individuals and families we work with. Milwaukee is a diverse, metropolitan city, and the growth it is experiencing across several sectors has created an incredible opportunity for our company, advisors and clients, one that I look forward to leading,” said Mlachnik.

In addition to providing exceptional services to his clients, Mlachnik also is active in the Milwaukee community. He is co-founder of 24-Up, a nonprofit organization that uses the game of basketball to teach life-affirming lessons. He is a member of the Strategic Planning Committee at St. Thomas More High School in Milwaukee and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Pat Connaughton Foundation.

“Milwaukee is quickly growing into one of the more prominent US cities, both from an economic and cultural perspective, and specifically when it comes to the financial services industry. As a leader in that space, and as a company with roots in the Midwest, a new office that could service our clients and allow us to be on the ground to truly invest in them and the community made perfect sense,” Nelson said.

“The Deer District is one of the fastest growing and most exciting areas in Milwaukee. Having an office in here helps us support the city as it evolves, while also empowering our business, to grow our client base of corporate executives, business owners and high-net-worth individuals and families,” Nelson said.
