MADISON, Wis. – Today, the North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters announced their endorsement of Judge Susan Crawford for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. The North Central States Council of Carpenters is dedicated to protecting and elevating economic and social conditions for Carpenters and Industrial Workers and represents nearly 27,000 union members throughout the Midwest.

Since announcing her candidacy, Judge Crawford has secured the support of more than 150 current and former judges, as well as current Wisconsin Supreme Court Justices Ann Walsh Bradley, Rebecca Dallet, Jill Karofsky, and Janet Protasiewicz.

“Judge Susan Crawford has spent her career standing up for workers and ensuring their rights are protected under the law. She understands the challenges Wisconsin’s working families face and has never backed down from a tough fight when justice is on the line. We’re confident she’ll bring that same dedication to the Wisconsin Supreme Court,” said NCSRCC Political Director Andrew Disch. “That’s why the North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters is proud to endorse and fully support Judge Crawford’s campaign for the Wisconsin Supreme Court.”

“I’m honored to have the endorsement of the North Central Regional Council of Carpenters,” said Judge Susan Crawford. “Wisconsin’s workers deserve a Supreme Court that upholds the law and protects the rights of everyday Wisconsinites. I’ve dedicated my career to making sure our most basic rights and freedoms are upheld and that’s exactly what I’ll do as a Justice on our state Supreme Court.”

As a prosecutor, attorney, and now as a Circuit Court Judge, Judge Crawford has spent her career defending the rights and freedoms of Wisconsinites and working to improve community safety. On the Wisconsin Supreme Court, Judge Crawford will be a fair and impartial justice and always uphold our laws and Constitution. Visit crawfordforwi.com/endorsements for more information
