News conference will announce Sunday rally at Serb Hall
10 a.m. Friday, March 22
Alderman Bob Donovan will join with leaders of the Milwaukee Police Association on Friday to announce a rally in support of police officers that will be taking place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday (March 24) at American Serb Hall, 5101 W. Oklahoma Ave. The 10 a.m. Friday news conference at the MPA’s offices will urge members of the public to attend Sunday’s rally at Serb Hall, Alderman Donovan said.
“More than 99.9% of the brave men and women serving as Milwaukee police officers are honest, hard working, diligent, and tough as nails,” said Alderman Donovan. “These fine officers put their lives on the line for us each and every day, and as a community we need to rally around them and let them know how much we support them. I urge everyone to come to Serb Hall on Sunday to show their support.”
Members of police support groups may also be in attendance at Friday’s news conference.
