NEWaukee Night Market Returns This Wednesday
The final Night Market of 2017 will run on Wisconsin Avenue from 5-10PM on Wednesday, September 13th.

Milwaukee, Wisc. August 14, 2017 — The third NEWaukee Night Market of 2017 will be on Wednesday, August 16th. The Night Market is a monthly, open-air market that offers a wide variety of experiences for people of all backgrounds and ages on West Wisconsin Avenue.
New in August is Comedy on the Bus, stand up comedy sets by local comedians throughout the evening in partnership with Bus Rapid Transit and Milwaukee Comedy, virtual reality tours of the Grand Theatre by Kahler Slater, high flying tumblers from the Milwaukee Flyers, and MATC’s chess master and student-made chess sets. GRAEF will be there roasting s’mores and Zilber Properties Ltd. will host life size games of chess and checkers!
NEWaukee founded the Night Market in the summer of 2014 with the goal of creating a free, vibrant, safe, and interactive place in downtown Milwaukee for people to experience culture at night. The program features over a hundred art and craft vendors, diverse food offerings, live art creation, pop up performances, music from True Skool, a beer garden, and interactive non-profit and community booths.
West Wisconsin Avenue between 2nd and 4th streets and Old World Third between Wisconsin Avenue and Wells Street will be shut down from noon to 1 a.m. on the day of the event. Busses that run along Wisconsin Avenue will be rerouted to either Michigan Avenue or Wells Street.
