MSOC Announces 2025 Schedule

Golden Eagles open campaign against Bradley on August 21 at Valley Fields

By - May 29th, 2025 08:10 am

MILWAUKEE — The Marquette University men’s soccer team announced its full 2025 schedule Thursday morning, a slate highlighted by 12 matches at Valley Fields.

“Our goal with the non-conference season was to setup some competitive home games against teams who had experience in the NCAA tournament last year, and were teams who would be nationally competitive this fall season,” head coach David Korn said. ” These games provide good opportunities for our team to be challenged and grow as we head into conference play.  We’re excited to host so many games at Valley Fields and showcase our great facility and University here at Marquette.”

Following a pair of exhibition matches in mid-August, the campaign will begin with a six-match homestand starting on Thursday, Aug. 21, when the Golden Eagles host Bradley in a student welcome game at 6 p.m. (CT).

The Golden Eagles will continue home-and-home matchups against in-state foes, including hosting Wisconsin on Sept. 6, and will compete in the 51st Milwaukee Cup at Milwaukee on Sept. 23. Senior Night is Tuesday, Oct. 21 against Edgewood.

Marquette opens BIG EAST play on Friday, Sept. 19, at Creighton. The league home opener for the Golden Eagles is set for Saturday, Sept. 27, against Seton Hall. MU will close the regular season on Friday, Nov. 7, when it hosts Villanova.

The schedule features matchups against four teams that were ranked in the top 25 in at least one of last season’s United Soccer Coaches polls, as well as four programs that competed in the 2024 NCAA Men’s College Cup (Akron, North Florida, Providence, and Seton Hall).

The squad returns 21 letterwinners including Justin Milovanov, Tristan Rønnestad-StevensKyle Bebej, and Matthew Iriarte, who were appointed team captains for the 2025 campaign.
