MPD Receives a Donation of Locks from The Master Lock Company

MILWAUKEE, WI – Today, August 9, 2022, the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) received a supply of locker combo locks, bike locks, gun locks and steering wheel locks. The locks were donated thanks to the generosity of The Master Lock Company for MPD to distribute to community members at community events. The locks will help add an extra layer of protection to reduce the risk of being a victim of vehicle theft and bike theft. The gun locks will also ensure that gun owners can safely secure their firearms. Locks will be available at the MPD- Community Bike Ride event that will take place on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Contact your local district to obtain information on the bike route for your district.
