Mount Mary’s Marian Gallery to Host “Draw Your Soul” Art Exhibit

Art from members of the Mount Mary community depicting the theme “Draw Your Soul” will be on display in Mount Mary University’s Marian Gallery October 9-31.

MILWAUKEE (September 30, 2014) – Art from members of the Mount Mary community depicting the theme “Draw Your Soul” will be on display in Mount Mary University’s Marian Gallery October 9-31. “Draw Your Soul” showcases ink drawings created by Mount Mary students, alumnae, faculty, administrators and staff who were invited to draw intuitively to depict their interpretation of soul. The exhibit is part of the University’s Homecoming on the Mount celebration and is free and open to the public.

Art on display will be available for purchase at $20 per piece as a fundraiser to support the gallery. The opening reception is Thursday, October 9 from 5-8 p.m. and will feature soul food and music.

Marian Gallery is located on the first floor of Caroline Hall at 2900 N. Menomonee River Parkway and is open Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
