Milwaukee Public Market Unveils Dates for Under-Freeway Concert Series
Milwaukee, WI – May 27, 2026 – Milwaukee Public Market announced today the return of the Riverwalk Commons Concert Series, a free outdoor summer music series bringing live local music, food and drinks to the Historic Third Ward.
Held every other Tuesday evening from June through September at Riverwalk Commons, located across from Milwaukee Public Market at 423 N. Water St., the series transforms the public space into a lively destination for summer nights along the river.
The 2026 Riverwalk Commons Concert Series lineup includes:
- June 2: The Panoptics
- June 16: Gabriel Harris Band
- June 30: Social Cig
- July 14: Learning to Fly
- July 28: Bomber & Red
- August 11: Los Mitoteros
- August 25: Ladybird
- September 8: Crook & Company
- September 22: Radio Radio
Happy Hour begins at 5 p.m., with live music from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. Each concert will feature rotating food trucks, a full bar serving local beer, wine and cocktails, and the returning Draft & Vessel beer truck.
“The Riverwalk Commons Concert Series has become a summer tradition for many in Milwaukee and a great example of how public spaces can bring people together,” said Paul Schwartz, executive director of Milwaukee Public Market and Business Improvement District #2. “Seeing this underutilized space transformed into a vibrant gathering place filled with live music, food, drinks and community energy is one of the many reasons we’re excited to bring the series back for a fifth season.”
Proceeds from beverage sales at the Public Market-operated Shipping Container Bar directly support continued improvements, programming and activation efforts at Riverwalk Commons.
