Milwaukee Legislators Express Condolences Over Death of Greg Zyszkiewicz
Greg Zyszkiewicz, 64, was a 33-year employee of the Milwaukee DNS who served as a special enforcement inspector.
MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee legislators expressed their deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Greg “Ziggy” Zyszkiewicz, the Milwaukee Department of Neighborhood Services (DNS) inspector who was shot and killed while on duty Wednesday.
“Greg Zyszkiewicz’s death is a senseless loss,” said the legislators. “His service to the community will not be forgotten. He was a longtime and devoted inspector who was highly respected and liked by all of his colleagues. We deplore this horrific act of violence and join community members in mourning this tragic loss. Our hearts go out to his family and friends, and all those who worked with or knew him.”
