Milwaukee County Parks Announces Weather-Related Closures Due to Extreme Cold
Milwaukee, WI – Due to dangerously cold temperatures and wind chills forecasted for the coming days, Milwaukee County Parks is announcing temporary closures and operational adjustments to ensure public safety.
As a result of the extreme cold:
Parks Outdoor Activities – CLOSED Friday & Saturday
All outdoor Parks programming and activities will be closed on Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 24, including:
- Slice of Ice ice skating at Red Arrow Park
- Outdoor recreation programs
- Other outdoor park amenities and activities
Parks Indoor Facilities – OPEN
Indoor Milwaukee County Parks facilities and programs will remain open during this period, operating under normal business hours unless otherwise noted.
