Milwaukee County Invites Community Input at “Future State” Listening Sessions

MILWAUKEEMilwaukee County Executive David Crowley is announcing a series of community meetings aimed at gathering public input on how County departments can improve services and programs in the future. This is part of the Future State Project, which is an opportunity to reimagine what services Milwaukee County provides to everyone who lives, works, and plays in the community.

These meetings are an opportunity for residents to share their thoughts, ideas, and feedback on this important initiative. People can attend one of four listening sessions where they will receive information on the Future State Project and the programs and services administered by Milwaukee County, as well as provide input about the future of Milwaukee County’s programs and services. Residents are encouraged to RSVP for the sessions HERE.

“Addressing health disparities requires us to boldly reimagine how Milwaukee County operates. The Future State Project is an effort to review our existing programs and practices in order to look at different ways to eliminate disparities, save taxpayer dollars, create new efficiencies, and achieve our vision of advancing equity in all measurable areas,” said County Executive Crowley. “Community input is vital to our success as the largest county in Wisconsin. I look forward to hearing from our residents and working together to create a stronger, healthier future for everyone in Milwaukee County.”

Below are the details for the Future State Project community listening sessions.

  • May 13, 2025 from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM: Kosciuszko Community Center, Lower-Level Community Room, 2201 S. 7th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53215
  • May 13, 2025 from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM: Wilson Park Senior Center, Main Hall/Lounge, 2601 W. Howard Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53221
  • May 14, 2025 from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM: Brown Deer High School, Learning Resource Center, 8200 N. 60th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53223
  • May 14, 2025 from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM: Franklin Sports Complex, Fieldhouse Conference Room, 6000 W. Ryan Road, Franklin, WI 53132
