Milwaukee Area Service and Hospitality Workers (MASH) Endorses Jack Eckblad for Milwaukee County Board Supervisory District 4
MILWAUKEE, WI – Jack Eckblad, candidate for Milwaukee County Board Supervisory District 4, proudly announced his campaign’s endorsement from the Milwaukee Area Service and Hospitality Workers (MASH) today.
Eckblad responded to the endorsement, “I am honored to receive MASH’s endorsement. Having worked in the service industry — as a dishwasher, line cook, server, and bartender from age 14 to 31 — and depending on tipped wages to cover rent and student loans, this endorsement is deeply meaningful to me. Throughout my career, I have actively advocated for fair wages and improved working conditions in the hospitality sector. I will continue to champion solutions to address the challenges facing workers while serving on the Milwaukee County Board.”
MASH joins twelve leaders and elected officials from the city, county, and state levels in supporting Eckblad’s campaign for bold, responsible leadership. Eckblad has also been endorsed by the Democratic Party of Milwaukee County, Milwaukee Area Labor Council, and AFT Local 212 COPE.
