Marquette to virtually host ninth annual Real Estate Strategies Conference
MILWAUKEE — The Center for Real Estate in the College of Business Administration at Marquette University will host its ninth annual Real Estate Strategies Conference with a three-part virtual series, beginning with Bob Sulentic, president and CEO of the CBRE Group, on Thursday, Sept. 10, from 11 a.m. to noon.
Registration is free and open to the public.
Sulentic will lead a session called, “CEO Insight: Current and Long-Term Impacts of the Pandemic on Commercial Real Estate.” His presentation will provide commentary on the short- and long-term impacts of the coronavirus pandemic on real estate markets; changes in occupier strategies; investor attitudes and shifting strategies; future demand of all asset classes; investment market expectations; and Midwest-focused real estate trends and opportunities.
As president and CEO of CBRE Group, Sulentic has a unique global view of commercial real estate markets. He oversees more than 100,000 professionals across offices in over 100 countries around the world. CBRE Group is a Fortune 150 company and the largest real estate investment and services provider in the world
Part two of the conference, “Diversity in Real Estate: Success Stories and Strategies for Company Leaders,” will take place on Thursday, Oct. 8, from 11 a.m. to noon.
The final session, “2020 Retrospective Survey: Top 10 Trends of the Last Decade and the Next,” will be Thursday, Nov. 5, from 11 a.m. to noon.
Keynote speakers for parts two and three will be announced at a later date.
