Marquette Athletics Announces Promotions In Leadership Team

Josetti, Ridgeway named deputy athletic director

Marquette University Vice President and Director of Athletics Mike Broeker officially announced key leadership promotions within the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics on Tuesday afternoon.

“These promotions reflect the outstanding leadership Danielle and Adrienne bring to our department every day,” Broeker said.  “Their work has had a tremendous impact on our programs, and I’m confident their expanded roles will further strengthen our commitment to delivering a transformational student-athlete experience.”

Danielle Josetti has been promoted to Deputy Athletic Director, Operations, and will also serve as the department’s Senior Woman Administrator.  In this expanded role, Josetti will provide strategic oversight of the compliance, communications, marketing and sales, and facilities and event management departments.  Known for her operational expertise and commitment to excellence, Josetti has played an integral role in the department’s growth and performance.

Dr. Adrienne Ridgeway has been named Deputy Athletic Director, Student-Athlete Well-Being. Ridgeway will now oversee academics, sports medicine, sports performance, and mental health and wellness initiatives for Marquette’s student-athletes. Her leadership has been pivotal in shaping a supportive and holistic approach to student-athlete care and development.
