Leah’s Statement on Iran Nuclear Deal
'This is a great day for Wisconsin and America."
Brookfield, Wis. – Military mom and U.S. Senate candidate Leah Vukmir released the following statement Tuesday in reaction to news that President Trump is pulling out of the Iranian nuclear deal:
“This is a great day for Wisconsin and America. The foolish and dangerous Iranian nuclear deal would have allowed Iran to develop nuclear weapons, and it is now in the wastebasket of history along with the rest of Obama’s naïvely misguided foreign policy. The real question now is if Tammy Baldwin still supports the Iranian nuclear deal, or if she stands with Wisconsin voters who want a president who puts them first.”
Leah Vukmir is a nurse, military mom and conservative with a proven record who has stood with Gov. Walker in cutting taxes and implementing bold reforms. She is running for the U.S. Senate to bring the Wisconsin Way to Washington. She currently serves as a state senator from Brookfield.
