Kate Schuhmacher Joins Johnson Financial Group as Vice President of Employee Benefits, Director of Client Experience

Milwaukee, Wisconsin. September 13, 2022. Johnson Financial Group is pleased to announce that Kate Schuhmacher has joined the company as Vice President of Employee Benefits, Director of Client Experience.

“Kate is genuinely interested in helping others achieve success both personally and professionally,” said Joanne Szymaszek, president of Johnson Insurance. “She’s also passionate about building a culture of collaboration in the Employee Benefits space to deliver on clients’ unique needs.”

Schuhmacher brings more than 20 years of leadership experience and a strong background in both Employee Benefits and Human Resources. She began her career in the insurance industry in 2012, specializing in Employee Benefits, having worked for private employers, national and local brokerage agencies. She is certified in both Health and Life Insurance and holds a BA from University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point.

In addition to serving as a Mental coach, Schuhmacher is actively involved in her community. She volunteers for United Way of Dane County, Habitat for Humanity and provides in-home hospice care through ThedaCare.
