Justice Shirley Abrahamson Endorses Rebecca Dallet for Wisconsin Supreme Court

MILWAUKEE — Today, Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Shirley Abrahamson announced her endorsement of Judge Rebecca Dallet for Wisconsin’s open Supreme Court seat.
“I am proud to announce my support for a candidate as qualified as Judge Rebecca Dallet for Wisconsin’s highest court,” said Justice Abrahamson. “Judge Dallet has shown over her 23 years in Wisconsin courtrooms that she understands the proper role of the courts and how the application of Wisconsin law impacts our communities. Her perspective and experience will serve the court and our state well.”

I know I can take on the hundreds of thousands of dollars from special interests trying to buy my opponent a seat on Wisconsin’s highest court with the support of leaders like Justice Abrahamson.”
Elected in 2008 and re-elected in 2014, Judge Rebecca Dallet currently serves on the Milwaukee County Circuit Court. She has spent the past 23 years working in Wisconsin courtrooms – first as a prosecutor and now as judge presiding over more than 10,000 cases and more than 230 jury trials in a wide range of areas from domestic violence and misdemeanor court, to homicide and drug court, and civil and small claims court. Judge Dallet is running to protect our Wisconsin values during a time when our most basic rights are under attack. She lives in Whitefish Bay with her husband, Brad, and their three teenage daughters.
