Judge Wales demonstrates depth and strength of campaign with key endorsements
Wales campaign announces additional endorsements.
MILWAUKEE, WI – Village of Fox Point Municipal Judge Scott A. Wales is honored to announce the support of two additional Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judges along with two Milwaukee County Court Commissioners, as well as dozens of respected community leaders. The Campaign is also proud to inform that Bryan Kennedy, Mayor of the City of Glendale, has joined the large and growing list of supporters.
Julia Lazarski, Chair of the Wales for Judge – Communications Committee, has this statement:
After two successful listening sessions, the Wales for Judge Committee is proud to announce this compelling additional list of supporters. Before having a fundraiser or kickoff event, Judge Wales felt it was paramount to first hear from the community of Milwaukee County. We are grateful for the ideas and issues brought to and discussed at these events.
Judge Wales has overcome many obstacles including countless experiences of being bullied as child and teenager, derived from being born with Moebius Syndrome. As someone who has overcome the physical challenges arising from facial paralysis that has permanently affected speech, hearing, and vision, he knows the difficulty of daily battles addressing misunderstanding in our society. Moving forward in life, he has worked very hard to establish himself as an attorney of note, jurist and educator.
Championing diversity, Judge Wales has made understanding of those who grow up disadvantaged, and how at times it can affect self-determination and the desire to achieve, cornerstones of his Campaign. Also, as a member of the Jewish Community, Judge Wales understands and continues to live through the experiences of Anti-Semitism and the effects it has on religious freedom for all. He adheres to a vital and simple maxim: patience over prejudice in all matters. Residents of Milwaukee County should demand fairness and impartial justice, no matter their faith, race or political beliefs. Bringing critical experience to the bench, Judge Wales has the depth of real world know-how and patience from seven years as a judge and as an educator, since 1992, at MATC’s downtown Milwaukee campus. His almost thirty years as a practicing attorney have been spent fighting for a wide array of teenage and adult clients with compassion and poise. We invite the public to visit our website or Facebook page to ask questions and connect with our future listening session events.
