(MILWAUKEE) – The annual fundraiser to support the Washington Park Wednesdays free summer concert series will take place Wednesday, May 7 from 5-7 p.m. at the new Washington Park Urban Ecology Center (1849 N. 40th St., Milwaukee). The event costs $10 per person, with a family fee of $20, payable at the door. Admission includes food and entertainment, along with activities for kids.

“Each spring, the Party for the Park helps kick off a season of community art and culture on Milwaukee’s west side,” said Washington Park Neighbors Executive Director Melissa Muller. “This event brings the community together and brings support for the free Washington Park Wednesdays summer concert series.”

Alderwoman Sharlen Moore and artist Brad Bernard will emcee this year’s Party for the Park. DJs Katie Rose, Christopher Brooks and Wes Tank will spin all vinyl funk and soul sets.
