Milwaukee, WI (April 2, 2026)101.7 The Truth announces the 5th Annual Tory Lowe Community Clean Up, presented by the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD), taking place Saturday, April 18, from 8:00 a.m. to noon.

The annual event brings together local organizations, volunteers, and community members to help improve Milwaukee neighborhoods through coordinated clean-up efforts across three locations.

Volunteers are encouraged to participate at one or more of the following sites:

Location 1 (8:00 – 9:00 a.m.) Evolve MKE 6550 N. 76th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53223

Location 2 (9:30 – 10:30 a.m.) The New Pitts Mortuary 2031 W. Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53206

Location 3 (11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.) Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School 3275 N. 3rd Street, Milwaukee, WI 53212

In addition to the clean-up efforts, MMSD will host a Hazardous Waste Mobile Drop-Off from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the third location, giving residents an opportunity to safely dispose of select household materials.

“People coming together to beautify our city shows how powerful we can be and what we can accomplish when we work together,” said Tory Lowe, community advocate, civil rights activist, and host of The Tory Lowe Show on 101.7 The Truth.

“This year marks our fifth annual clean up, and it’s incredible to see participation continue to grow,” said Kyle Wallace, Director of Community Relations for 101.7 The Truth. “While we’ve had more than 300 volunteers in past years, the most important outcome is the positive impact we’re making across our community.”

Following the success of previous events—where volunteers removed thousands of gallons of trash—101.7 The Truth aims to make this year’s clean up the largest yet as efforts continue to support a cleaner, safer Milwaukee.
