International Union of Police Associations Endorses Judge Brad Schimel

WAUKESHA, Wisc. – Today, the International Union of Police Associations, AFL-CIO endorsed Judge Brad Schimel in his bid to save Wisconsin’s Supreme Court. The International Union of Police Associations adds to Schimel’s long list of bipartisan law enforcement support, including over 80 Wisconsin Sheriffs.

As part of their endorsement, the International Union of Police Associations said, “Your past experience as a prosecutor, Attorney General, and judge has provided you with a well-earned reputation as a champion for justice and for working to keep our communities safe from those who would prey on them. You would be an asset to this august body and your influence, based on your experience, will result in enhanced safety for the people of Wisconsin and for the brave men and women who protect them.”

Following this announcement, Judge Schimel said, “I’m honored to receive the support of the International Union of Police Associations in my race for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Throughout my entire career, I’ve worked alongside our brave men and women in uniform to ensure our communities are safe. From the crime scene to the courtroom, I’ve partnered with our proud law enforcement officers to protect our most vulnerable and I look forward to serving Wisconsin on our state’s highest court.”

The International Union of Police Associations, AFL-CIO, represents active duty, rank and file law enforcement professionals across this great nation, including the U.S. territories of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Many of their members serve in the State of Wisconsin.
