GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Tom Tiffany and WI-03 Congressman Derrick Van Orden Support More Tariff Taxes
MADISON, Wis. — Continuing their relentless bootlicking campaign, both Tom Tiffany and Derrick Van Orden doubled down for their support of Trump tariff taxes after the president announced a 15% global tariff tax. Last year alone, families paid $1,000 more as a result of the sweeping tariffs. Now, Wisconsin families could face even higher prices, all as the GOP strips away health care and food assistance funding.
“Tom Tiffany and Derrick Van Orden are once again standing with their overlord Donald Trump and his new tariff taxes, not the hardworking Wisconsinites who are suffering because of them,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin spokesperson Philip Shulman. “Even the conservative Supreme Court acknowledged that the tariffs were an overreach by Trump.
