A St. John’s service error closed out the frame as Marquette took a 2-0 match lead with a 25-15 set two win.
MU jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead behind three straight aces from Studer. The Golden Eagles controlled the pace throughout, with strong offense from Ring, Bray, and Radeff, while Keira Schmidt contributed at the net on both sides.
