Frida festival and Puerto Rican Family Festival taking place this weekend
Alderman Scott Spiker invites residents to two festivals happening this weekend in the 13th Aldermanic District, also known as the Garden District.
The 2nd annual Frida Fest will take place TOMORROW – Saturday, July 31st and Sunday, August 1st from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Farmhouse Paint & Sip (4511 S. 6th St.) and will feature food trucks, music and local art vendors. The Frida Fest is sponsored by Chuchos Red Tacos and the Farmhouse Paint & Sip.
“Frida Fest and the Puerto Rican Family Festival are both wonderful opportunities to bring families and the community together,” Alderman Spiker said. “I hope residents take full advantage of this opportunity to connect with neighbors, take in the culture of the 13th District and enjoy a beautiful summer weekend in Milwaukee.”
