Free Sunday Family Fun Day at Northwestern Mutual Community Park – September 7
WHAT:
Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. (MWF) and Northwestern Mutual, through its Foundation, will be hosting the final FREE Sunday Family Fun Day of the season with MKE with Kids at the Northwestern Mutual Community Park on Sunday, September 7, from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
The FREE event is themed “Performing Arts” with special activities and family-friendly programming throughout the day.
The lineup for September 7 includes the following:
- Appearances from performing arts groups including Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Marcus Performing Arts Center, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Studio K Flamenco, Wisconsin Conservatory of Music
- Performances at the Northwestern Mutual Community Park Stage from Comedy Sportz, JustUsAndBooks, Milwaukee Flyers, Salsabrositas, and others.
- Exhibits and Hands-On Activities include chalk art murals with Ava Burrus-Dessert, Balloon Art, Betty Brinn Wonder Wagon, Face Painting, Girl Scouts, and more.
- On-site food and beverages from Bobalou Stuffed Gourmet Pretzels & Soft Frozen Lemonade, Fazio’s Gourmet Popcorn, Jamba, Pete’s Pops, Sil’s Mini Donuts and Coffee, Street-Za Pizza Food Truck.

Parking lots will open 15 minutes prior to the event. A limited number of free parking spaces will be available.
