Firefighters Local 215 Endorses David Crowley for Governor

MILWAUKEE – The Milwaukee Professional Firefighters Association, IAFF Local 215, has officially endorsed Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley for Governor of Wisconsin. The endorsement marks the first union endorsement in the 2026 gubernatorial race and delivers major momentum to Crowley’s campaign.

“David Crowley has consistently stood with those who work every day to keep our communities safe and their families,” said Eric Daun, President of the Milwaukee Professional Firefighters Association. “In our line of work, trust is earned through performance, showing up, and putting in the work. David Crowley has done just that – and he’s delivered results for our community during times of crisis and recovery. We trust him to lead Wisconsin forward.”

The Milwaukee Professional Firefighters Association represents over 800 active and retired firefighters who protect the lives and property of Milwaukee residents. Their endorsement signals strong support from the front lines of public service and organized labor.

“Firefighters answer the call no matter the danger—and I don’t take their support lightly,” said David Crowley. “I’m proud to stand with Milwaukee’s bravest, and as Governor, I’ll bring the same urgency, grit, and commitment to every corner of Wisconsin that they bring to protecting our residents.”

As Milwaukee County Executive, Crowley has made historic investments in public health, affordable housing, and community safety. He’s built bipartisan coalitions to tackle the opioid crisis, expand mental health resources, and stabilize emergency services countywide.
