Experience the Eletrifying Reunion of Rock Legends in Milwaukee Repertory Theater’s Million Dollar Quartet this Spring

Milwaukee, WI – [February 24, 2025]Milwaukee Repertory Theater is thrilled to present the final show in its 2024/25 Season, the Tony Award-winning hit Million Dollar Quartet with book by Colin Escott and Floyde Mutrux, beginging April 22 – May 24, 2025 in the Wilson Theater at Vogel Hall in the Marcus Performing Arts Center (121 E. State Street, Milwaukee).

Rock ‘n’ roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins are brought together by an extraordinary twist of fate on a December evening in 1956. This meeting at Sun Records would become one of the greatest jam sessions of all time. Based on a true story, Million Dollar Quartet brings that momentous occasion to vibrant life featuring a glorious score of rock ‘n’ roll, gospel, R&B and country hits, performed live onstage by world-class actors and musicians. Songs include “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Fever,” “Walk the Line,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Hound Dog” and more. Don’t miss this irresistible tale of broken promises, secrets, and celebrations that is both heartwarming and hilarious in this award-winning smash-hit musical.

The talented cast of Million Dollar Quartet features Aja Alcazar (A Christmas Carol, Milwaukee Rep) as Dyanne, Blake Burgess (Million Dollar Quartet, North Shore Music Theatre) as Johnny Cash, JP Coletta (Million Dollar Quartet, Infinity Theatre Co.) as Jerry Lee Lewis, Joe Hebel (Jersey Boys, The Rev Theatre Co.) as Elvis Presley, Armando Gutierrez (Run Bambi Run, Milwaukee Rep) as Carl Perkins, Seth K. Hale (Nuncrackers, Milwaukee Rep) as Sam Phillips, Patrick Morrow (Run Bambi Run, Milwaukee Rep) as W.S. Fluke Holland, and Michael Ritter (West Side Story, Milwaukee Rep) as Brother Jay.

Million Dollar Quartet is directed by Laura Braza (What the Constitution Means to Me, Much Ado About Nothing at Milwaukee Rep), with music direction by Dan Kazemi (Much Ado About Nothing, Milwaukee Rep), set design by Dan Conway (End of the Rainbow, Milwaukee Rep), lighting design by Jason Fassl (The Coast Starlight, Milwaukee Rep), costume design by Raquel Adorno (A Raisin in the Sun, Court Theatre), sound design by Matthew M. Neilson (Two Trains Running, Milwaukee Rep), voice and dialect coach Jill Walmsley Zager, casting by Jonathan Hetler and stage managed by Jade Bruno and assistant stage manager Josh Hart.
