Gregg has served as Plant Manager at Max Weiss Company since 2014
Milwaukee – David Gregg, a steel industry veteran of two decades, has been named Director of Operations at Max Weiss Company, the region’s leader in custom metal bending, forming and fabricating.
Gregg, who has served as Plant Manager at Max Weiss Company since 2014, brings a wealth of diverse experience to his new role. His background in the metal rolling/shaping industry includes production and personnel management, sales and purchasing, facility and equipment maintenance, and quality control supervision.
Gregg began his career as a welder-fabricator, plying the hands-on element of the industry for seven years before joining Max Weiss Company in 2004 as an account manager. He assumes a larger strategic role as Director of Operations, making decisions on long-term planning and capital expenditures, coaching and mentoring employees companywide, and establishing a positive culture that drives results.
“I’m thrilled to take on the challenges of this new position, and am grateful to the many, many people who have helped me gain broad knowledge of the many aspects of our business,” Gregg said. “My experience in the production and technical areas of the company, along with time spent in account management, have taught me what’s most important to our customers, and how we can best operate to meet their needs.”
“Dave is immensely qualified to be Director of Operations,” said Paul Schulz, President of Max Weiss Company. “His background in so many areas of the metal forming and fabricating business have prepared him well to step into the role and do a great job.”
Gregg is a graduate of Marian College with a B.B.A. in operations management and supervision.
