David Crowley Raises $800k in First Fundraising Period
The Crowley campaign has $601,000 cash on hand
MILWAUKEE – Today, County Executive David Crowley’s campaign announced that he will report $800,500 in contributions on the January Continuing Report, signaling his strong momentum in the wide-open Democratic primary field. In addition, the Crowley campaign has $601,000 cash on hand.
Crowley’s momentum is also reflected in a growing coalition of endorsements from elected officials, labor organizations, and community leaders across Wisconsin — including Milwaukee Professional Firefighters Local 215, Racine Professional Firefighters Local 321, Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson, La Crosse Mayor Shaundel Washington-Spivey, and State Assembly Assistant Minority Leader Kalan Haywood II, along with many other local and state leaders.
Crowley is the only Democrat in the race with experience actually running a government — balancing billion-dollar budgets, delivering essential services, and building bipartisan support to secure Act 12, the most significant shared-revenue reform in decades. As County Executive, Crowley has expanded affordable housing, invested in small businesses, modernized public health and crisis response, cut overdose deaths by 30%, and delivered results that are relevant far beyond Milwaukee County.
Crowley’s pragmatic approach and proven track record resonate in urban, suburban, and rural communities across Wisconsin. And as a County Executive who was re-elected in Milwaukee County with 84% of the vote, he is uniquely positioned to increase turnout in the city of Milwaukee while also driving up Democratic margins in crucial suburbs. Crowley’s statewide appeal is the exact formula that will elect a Democratic governor in November.
